Looking south between Borgfeld Drive and Bulverde Road, two managed lanes (three in the ultimate condition) are located in the middle; southbound and northbound free access lanes are on the outside. This view also shows pedestrians on the sidewalk and bicyclists sharing the wide outside driving lane. Pedestrians and bicyclists are safely accommodated on both sides of US 281 along the entire length of the project.
