This view looks north at where the project ends and the US 281 improvements transition back to the existing lanes just south of Cibolo Creek. In the southbound direction just south of Cibolo Creek is a 2-lane off-ramp where motorists can exit the freeway to continue southbound on free access lanes. Motorists who do not exit at this location would continue south on managed lanes (two in the interim and three in the ultimate condition).
